We already provide network solutions through iTkey, radio & TV on-air consoles from Logitek Australia and now OnAir Solutions offers a range of contribution and distribution products for broadcasters.

Whilst adding a new business unit is never easy, having all the infrastructure in place for Dingbat/iTkey and Logitek Australia meant we were well placed to take on this new opportunity.

Chris Dredge joins us as General Manager of OnAir Solutions, bringing his wealth of broadcast solutions experience to our team.

Chris and I go back a way, as he was instrumental in bringing the Logitek product range to Australia around a decade ago. So it's kinda cool that we get to work together again.

The new website for OnAir is up, although the final design package is still waiting to be overlayed... hopefully that should be done by end of the week.

For more details on what we're doing, check out the OnAir Solutions website.

Dingbat.net.au live on SquareSpace

We have just cutover the dingbat.net.au site to our new SquareSpace hosting platform. Still a few pages to put content onto, but the beauty of SquareSpace is it is very easy to do.

Our old Dingbat website hadn't been updated for years - something that as a technology company wasn't quite good enough! So when it came to redo the site, we throw the old stuff out and rethought the whole concept.

The new Dingbat site won't have much other than company info and some blogs - all of our product and service information is now split into our three brands.

iTkey is the new name for our IT side of the business, with a new focus on network security, IP telephony and hosted solutions (but yes we still support Small Business Server networks too).

Logitek Australia is for broadcast on-air consoles, including the new JetStream router and Pilot console.

OnAir Solutions will be launching very soon... can't say too much on that just yet.

So it's been a long time coming, but very pleased to be almost done!

Getting to know SquareSpace

Firstly thanks to Robert Crane of CIAOPS for suggesting SquareSpace to us.

We have just completed our first SquareSpace website, for our rebranding of Dingbat Technology's IT services to iTkey. The Dingbat brand will live on, but as the business expands into new markets we thought some distinct new brand names were required. In addition to iTkey and Logitek Australia, we'll also have another brand coming soon (more on that a little later).

One of the reasons we selected SquareSpace was the ability to get content published quickly, with a professional look and feel. We didn't just want a blog publishing tool, but something that would allow content for all our sites to be easily managed. SquareSpace seemed like a good way to do.

So now I am just getting to know the platform and what it can do. Meantime, our new iTkey solutions engineer, Claudio Ghisoni, has been working with our designers to put together the iTkey pages, and we've been happy with the results.

Next you should see a redesigned Dingbat home page taking shape soon.
